Les Houmets Necklace: Summer Haze

Design Notes: Les Houmets are a small group of islets on Guernsey’s East Coast. They feel wild and remote, surrounded by strong currents but rich with bird and marine life . The sea glass in these necklaces represent the islets which are like small treasures in these turbulent waters. The pearls and beads reflect the natural beauty, strong currents and changing colours of the sea in this dramatic part of Guernsey. The materials in this design have been hand selected for their soft tones to create the calm and warm feel of hazy summer’s day.

Sea Glass: 1 medium white, 1 medium lavender and 1 large and rare lavender piece of Guernsey sea glass
Pearls: Freshwater Pearls; silver, pink lavender, white, peacock blue, Bordeaux red, burgundy
Beads: Miyuki Delica beads; silver and white
